Reports say that there has been a plane crash today, 3 October 2013 in Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos. The Plane owned by Associated Airlines crashed at about 9:32am in the premises of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport and was said to have been bound for Akure, Ondo State. It has now been confirmed that it conveyed the corpse of late, former Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Agagu along with some members of his family.
The National Emergency Management Agency NEMA, reports about 9 people dead and 6 injured, other emergency agencies and ambulance services have since arrived the scene to control the situation. See more pictures and video of the wreckage...
