Nike Oshinowo who has been living with a medical condition, Endometriosis (which is characterised by Infertility. abdominal pain and irregular menstrual bleeding) , had her twins by a surrogate mother, said to be residing in the United Sates.
Surrogacy is an arrangement in which a woman carries and delivers a child for another couple or person. The surrogate may be the child's genetic mother (called traditional surrogacy), or she may be genetically unrelated to the child (called gestational surrogacy). It is being practiced in most developed parts of the World and gives couples with fertility problems a chance at having their own children.
