Blackberry To Be Sold for $4.7billion.

It has not been a good year so far for Smartphone maker, Blackberry as they had to lay off about 4500 workers following a loss of about $1billion attributed to the non-success the Z10.
However it has been revealed that an agreement has been reached with Canadian Financial Firm Fairfax Financial to acquire the company at a price $4.7billion dollars, far less than the $83 billion the company was once valued at.
Blackberry however intends to generate revenue from its BBM, as it is now offered on the Android platform and the iPhone OS.
