Massacre At The College Of Agriculture, Gujba Yobe, As Boko Haram Kills Scores Of Students.
On Sunday, September 29, 2013 men of the Boko Haram sect invaded The College of Agriculture, Gujba, Yobe, killing about 40 students in their sleep, the men came into the hostels at about 1am and opened fire without mercy on the students...
The attack was confirmed by Military spokesman, Lazarus Eli and sources from the Damaturu Specialist Hospital, where the bodies were deposited said that they had already received 40 bodies since the attack and were expecting more as bodies of dead students littered the premises where the attack took place.
This is the latest of the deadly Boko Haram attacks in Yobe State but certainly not the first, it will be recalled that in July, in the town of Mamudo in Yobe, Boko Haram militants threw explosives and shot sporadicly into dormitories in the middle of the night, killing about 41 students.
In the wake of the attack, President Jonathan has called a special meeting with the service chiefs, to find ways to curb the excesses of the Boko Haram sect.
