Javier Hernandez’s second half strike at Old Trafford clinched a 1-0 third round win over Liverpool on Wednesday and just minutes after full-time David Moyes’ men learnt they will host the Canaries in the last 16 in the week commencing October 28.“You always want a home draw if you can get it,” manager David Moyes told Sky Sports.
“Norwich are a good side, they have got a good manager (Chris Hughton) and we will give them every respect.”
Manchester City have been handed a trip to Newcastle, who beat Leeds 2-0 on Wednesday.
Birmingham ousted holders Swansea 3-1 and have been handed another home match in the last 16, this time against Stoke, who won 2-0 at Tranmere on Wednesday.
