A protest against the ongoing strike action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU), was organized by the Joint Campus Committee (JCC) of the National Association Of Nigerian Students (NANS) at about 12pm yesterday, 25th September, 2013.
It began with protesters marching from the
Ojuelegba overhead bridge in the Surulere area of
Lagos, and stopping just outside the main entrance to the
University of Lagos.
Reports say that the although the protest was not disrupted, the protesters were not allowed beyond the University Gate and there was police presence to maintain peace and order in the vicinity...see photos;
